With Thanksgiving mere hours away, our minds are swimming in thoughts of fun and food with family and friends, and the frenzy of Christmas shopping that will kick into full swing as soon as we’re un-stuffed enough to stand! But for as gloriously giftable as those Black Friday steals may be, from 50” TVs to the ‘It Bags’ of the season, they aren’t typically as personal as the little luxuries and whatnots that go into a really great stocking.
For me, opening my stocking has always been the most exciting aspect of Christmas morning. When I was a kid, it held sweetly-scented lip balms, Pez dispensers, cute key chains and the like. All small…all fun! As I got older, those sweetly-scented lip balms became slightly more sophisticated lip glosses, Pez dispensers were replaced with gourmet chocolate delights, and cute key chains…well…I still get cute key chains! But there is another side to my stocking that most certainly wasn’t there when I was young – a scandalous, sexy side.
